About The Jade Sabre


The Jade Sabre was started in June of 2000. It was named after Mara Jade Skywalker's ship, which appears in the novel Vector Prime. When I first became a Mara Jade fan, I was frustrated by the lack of a really great fansite for her. As a result, I learned HTML and made a site myself. :)

My goal with this site is to provide Mara Jade fans like me with a valuable resource for researching all types of information about her. If there's something you want to know about her that isn't on the site yet, or you have any questions or comments about the site at all, be sure to contact us. We would greatly appreciate feedback and suggestions of any type.

The original designer, creator, and webmaster (or more correctly 'webmistress' ;-)) of The Jade Sabre. For the most part, she runs the show here at The Jade Sabre. In fact, she is typing these very words right now!

A newsposter for The Jade Sabre, he has written several articles for our former "Opinions and News" department, as well as descriptions of novels and short stories.

(Some of us wonder if he's ever going to give us a better photo to post here. Hint hint.)


Past Designs

This was the very first version of The Jade Sabre. The colors make me want to puke now, but it wasn't bad for a first site!

Now the site began to look more Star Wars-ish. The main problem with this layout was the fact that the image rollovers never worked.

This design gained the affectionate title 'Naboo Symbols' after Terret noticed what an obvious rip-off of said symbols it contained.
Current Jade Sabre design Stereofidelic: January 2003

The best and brightest Jade Sabre design yet, in my humble opinion. At the very least, the easiest to navigate. Christened Stereofidelic for the header font.
