NY City Toy Fair:
This February eleventh through the fifteenth, the annual American International Toy Fair is being held in New York City. During Episode II's production in Australia, precision laser-scanning equipment was used to digitally record the likenesses of many of Episode II's cast. These distinctive busts will be on display at the fair. Click here to see the full story and some exclusive photos at StarWars.com. Now, what caught my eye when I saw this story were some of the pictures: One of them is described as a "Bounty Hunter in action," and he is unmistakeably wearing the same costume as a very familiar bounty hunter from the original trilogy. Check out the official site to see what I mean.
Like Father, Like Son, Like Uncle, Like Nephew: by Terret Yeth
Now I know that it may be old news to some and even most of you that Ewan McGregor became an actor because of his uncle Denis Lawson, who played the part of Wedge Antilles in the original trilogy. But the family connections in these movies don't stop there. Mark Hamill's son, Nathan Hamill, had a bit part as a gungan in Episode I: The Phantom Menace. So, as I have always believed, it is obvious that Star Wars is truly a family affair.
