October 6th, 2002: Essential Guide Gets Facelift    Del Rey books, who brought the Star Wars community such invaluable tools as the Essential Guide to Vehicles, the Art of Star Wars, and even such novels as Splinter of the Mind's Eye and the Han Solo trilogy, have revamped and updated old material and in April of 2002 will release Star Wars: The New Essential Guide to Characters. The new guide will not only feature new history of such characters as Mara Jade Skywalker and the Solo kids, but will also exhibit new characters from the unreleased Attack of the Clones, such as Count Dooku and the mysterious Jango Fett.
